Thank you to all the swimmers that took part in the regional relays.

A big shout out 🗣 of thanks to Warren Dopson in working to put all these teams together and also Michelle Schafer who organised our great team uniforms. The swimmers and team managers looked fantastic! Things don’t magically happen ... it is with many hours and great work by our volunteers. 💪

Thank you also to all the team managers that did an amazing job in organising the swimmers for today. It was with much pride as I started the girls races today and saw so many amazing swims and great sportsmanship around the pool.

The swimmers performed incredibly well with 5 Golds, 3 Silvers and 5 Bronzes, including a QLD record in the 12Yr Girls Medley Relay.

Thank you to all for your great work today in working together as a great team for Swimming Gold Coast.

The qualifying times are in!
..
Swimming Australia has today released the Bio Island Australian Junior Excellence program criteria and qualifying times for the 2019-2020 season.
..
Based on standards set at this year’s World Junior Swimming Championships, each time has been comprehensively reviewed and assessed as part of the revamped Bio Island Australian JX program. As a result, this extensive process has taken longer than anticipated, so we apologise for the delay in unveiling the new season’s details later than previously advertised – we appreciate your patience!

#LookAfterYourCoachDay

Remember to check in with your coach and say thanks.

Swimming Gold Coast thanks all the coaches for their hard work and dedication to our great sport and our swimmers of all abilities. Many early mornings, late nights, long weekends at carnivals ... walking up and down pool deck with our swimmers day in and day out.

Thanks a million! One of Queensland’s coaching greats, Nicholas Pedrazzini (Pedro) is one of the community voices for a new campaign aimed at putting the mental health of coaches on the agenda and trying to create cultural change in a career defined by results and often judged on the hours you spend on the job. Let us all take a moment to reflect on this important message and get behind it with #lookafteryourcoach
